This has been an incredible day – and we got to meet so many members of the wonderful Mom Mastermind Mentoring Group which I have been a member of since 2005.

Internet Marketing NAMS Friends
Posted by: | CommentsI am getting so excited as I prepare for my upcoming trip to Atlanta, Georgia, United States, for the Niche Affiliate Marketing Seminar - abbreviated as NAMS – this is the NAMS3 – my first one.
There will be people there from every walk of life, and even students flying in from England and Australia! So for me to travel from Vancouver, BC, Canada, is easy!
What a privilege to connect and network with people that I have “known” online for so long. Some people have been my friends through forums, some have been my mentors, some have taught me about TeleClasses, about Blogging, about Affiliate Marketing.
I’ve been online since 2003 – but my first 2 years were a haze, and I felt like I was in a jungle. I lost a lot of money – about $8,000 – during those first 2 years — but during the past 5 years, I have found the right people, who really love to help people, and I have benefited so much, and contributed back to them.
I just bought a new Flip Video Camera and a new Nikon Digital Camera, so my journey has already begun. Of course I’ll take my laptop.
There’ll be 150 students, and 20 Instructors.
Amazing Fact – 60 of us belong to the Elite Mentoring Group – with Lynn Terry – I can’t wait to meet Lynn, and of course the 60 other people that I know from the Forums and Webinars that Lynn leads.
Can’t wait to be with a group of Internet Marketers, make new friends, and connect with friends I have already met online, and now I will meet in person!

Learning Internet Marketing NAMS 2010
Posted by: | CommentsInternet Marketing – Affiliate Marketing – Friendships – Education – Blogging – Infopreneurs -
Yay! I am all registered and ready to go to …
Atlanta, Georgia, USA from Vancouver Canada, in January to NAMS3 – NICHE AFFILIATE MARKETING SYSTEM - to learn more about Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Blogging, Being an Infopreneur.
My journey started in 2003 – and 6 years later, I’m ready to intensively immerse myself for 3 days with the best of the best – people who have taken action in their own lives and are willing to teach us.
How great is that? My favorite part is that I get to meet and network with friends I have made during the past 6 years on the internet. Some of the instructors are people who I “met” any time during the past 6 years. I have been on their teleclasses, their forums, and purchased Training Courses from many of them.
Amongst the attendees will be many friends I have made over the internet – particularly friends from the Elite Brainstorming Group I belong to.
Other attendees will include my wonderful Outsourcing team – I have outsourced to Virtual Assistants, Bloggers, Webmasters, over the past 6 years, and many of them have become very good friends over the internet.
The networking and the learning will be incredible. Now for me – the idea of 150 people all on laptops and learning, learning, learning and networking, networking, networking – is a dream come true.
I just heard there are only 20 openings left – so if you want to jump in – now is the time to register for NAMS3 – NICHE AFFILIATE MARKETING SYSTEM - and you can get $100 off with this Coupon Code 100NAMS3

Thoughts on the Site Builder:
The site builder is very easy-to-use and is suitable for those with no online experience and who want to get a website set up quickly and economically. Instead of having to rely on a web designer’s high price tag and schedule, it allows business owners to keep full control of their websites and make quick updates and more.
Things to Keep in Mind:
This is a web-based site builder program and you need to be connected to the Internet to use it. It also does not allow for installation of any special scripts (though javascript code CAN be inserted into pages), but much of the functionality you’d need in a website is included.
Perks:
The site builder comes with a free 10-day trial, so you have ample opportunity to see if it’s the right site-building tool for you. It also comes with price protection, so if the price ever goes up, you never have to pay more than when you signed up.

Keeping Your Website Fresh
Posted by: | CommentsDIME — DIANA’S INTERNET MARKETING EDUCATION
KEEPING YOUR WEBSITE FRESH – HOW DO I MAKE A WEBSITE?
Websites with broken links and out dated information, die very quickly. For a website to be a success it must be well maintained, continually updated to keep up with technology, and have new and engaging content so that it meet its user’s needs. Even if the information of your website does not change there are ways to update the information and maintain the user’s interest.
1. Keep an eye on your site for out-of date information- Review your site often for any out-of-date information. Make sure that your product pricing is correct, and that all items listed are available. Update your company and contact information to make sure the user can contact you. Add any new information or content of a subject that is already listed on the site. This is also a good time to correct any typos or change the wording up a bit.
2. Change up the graphics - Add clearer pictures and illustrations of your products. Include decorative graphics in your content section. New images will catch the eye faster than new text. For the graphics that are already in place, make sure that they are prepared correctly so that they load quickly and display properly.
3. Click on all of your links - As you change and update your website; make sure that users can get to your new and improved sections. Click on all of the links to make sure that they are still working and going to the right page. If you have links to other websites, test the links to make sure that the website is still up and displaying the content that you want to present to your users.
4. Put up new content - Post newsletters to let users know what is going on with your company. Post advertisements for sales and special offers. If your users are linked to your website through email, send out announcements whenever you make these special posts, inviting the user back to your website to see what is new.
5. Add sound or music to your website – Add appropriate sounds of music to the website so it gets the users attention as they open it up or open up different portions and pages. I use Audio Acrobat for all my audio needs.
6. Apply the use of a content management system – A Content Management System (CMS) is software that helps create, manage and edit information that is on your website. Many types of this software allow you to put content expiration dates of the articles, items, and information that you put of your website. Watch your expirations dates, and the software will remind you when it is time to freshen up your content.
7. Offer links to other websites - Put links to other websites that your users may find useful. If you are continually adding to these links, your user will come back for them.
These are just a small number of the many things that you can do to keep your website fresh. Remember to be creative and continue to look to what your users’ needs are. You will find that keeping your website up to date and fresh will reap the rewards you are looking for.

What is Twitter?
Posted by: | CommentsWell, I joined Twitter about 6 months ago. It is a free service.
Sometimes it was weeks before I posted anything. I just could not understand why anyone would be interested when I was going out for a walk, or having a smoothie! But now I’m becoming “addicted”…. it is definitely a way to stay in touch with current online friends, and make new friends.
Now, using Twitter as a tool for business networking is definitely the way of the future. I am so fortunate because last night my Mom Masterminds Mentoring Group for online mentoring provided members with an EXCLUSIVE TeleClass about Twitter and I learned a lot.
I am finding that it is a great way to brainstorm and also set goals for the day, and keep myself accountable. It is like when I worked in an office, and I would have coffee breaks or lunch breaks with co-workers…. sometimes we talked about business and sometimes we chatted about what was going on in our personal lives — you know, like friends do!
If you want to try out Twitter, here is my URL http://twitter.com/DianaWalker and make sure you come and say Hi and Follow me (you’ll see what that means when you get there).

Posted by: | CommentsAs many of you know, my online knowledge and success really took off after I became a member of Mom Masterminds So you can imagine how happy I am when I can get together in person with Alice Seba, Internet Marketing Sweetie. along with Vera Raposo, another Internet Marketing expert. They have both become my friends through this wonderful mentoring group. Alice is one of the founders of the Mom Masterminds Internet Mentoring Group. We had lots of great conversation and terrific food.

Vera, Diana & Alice
I followed Alice’s lead (since she has been one of my coaches in Internet Marketing!) and chose the same as her for lunch — “planked” salmon with jasmine rice and asparagus. It was delicious! It is so wonderful to have this kind of support. It was great to learn more about each of their lives and also to hear about how business is booming with Vera.
